Ternes Scientific (Ternes Agricultural Consulting Pty Ltd). was incorporated in 2010. The business provides specialist research management and consultancy to The Commonwealth of Australia, CSIRO, Universities, Collaborative Research Centres, Research & Development Corporations & Industry.
Much of our work is focused on the food value chain (from primary producer to end consumer of foods), livestock nutrition, business planning and carbon accounting.
Both Principals hold PhD level qualifications in agriculture and horticulture. Our recent work has been involved with managing national research programs for RDC, determining net zero pathways for the Gippsland food value chain, designing and delivering new voluntary carbon market mechanisms for livestock agriculture (in conjunction with AgcoTech Global), and design and delivery of industry training digital platforms, content and extension materials.
